One down side (my personal thought) The restaurant area is uninviting,, reminds me of a school canteen. The comment has no reflection on their food. Presentation, taste and value for money were 10 out 10. Large selection of beer, larger, wine selection not your everyday ones. Local or in around Sussex but not a hundred per cent with that fact. Great pub for summer..

What a night, thanks guys, the brass band was fab, I thought I'd hate it! But was bloody brilliant! Food and wine good, atmosphere great. Annual street festival etc etc

Sunday lunch was good. Ordered the gooey choc brownie for dessert....which wasn’t good and wasn’t remotely gooey. We returned item (after eating the small scoop of vanilla ice cream) and asked for it to be taken off the bill...we were charged £1 for the ice cream and kind of made to feel as if we shouldn’t have complained! This may seem small but over the way this was handled it’s unlikely we will return.
